Why wearers value a fresh start

Support without starting again

You can keep your current hearing aids and still regain professional guidance and follow-up.

Adjustments when needs change

We can fine-tune settings as hearing, comfort and daily listening demands shift over time.

Upgrade credit later

If you upgrade within 12 months, the £250 discount offsets the transfer fee.

Ongoing support for hearing aids bought elsewhere

If you already wear hearing aids but your original provider is no longer convenient, no longer available or simply not giving you the support you need, Transfer of Care can bridge that gap. We designed it for people who want a new professional home for their current devices without feeling pushed straight into replacing them. At Tide Hearing, the starting point is a review of your hearing and your hearing aids, including how they fit, how they are programmed and how they perform in real life. That helps us understand what can be improved now and what may need watching over time.

One fee, continued review and room to improve

The one-off £250 fee covers a hearing and device review, consultations, unlimited programming adjustments and fine-tuning, follow-up appointments, performance monitoring and maintenance advice. We can work on clarity, balance, comfort and everyday use while keeping a record of how your hearing aids are progressing. For many wearers, that continuity is valuable in itself. If you later decide to upgrade within 12 months of transferring care, we apply a £250 discount on new hearing aids, effectively returning the transfer fee.

Frequently asked questions

Who is Transfer of Care designed for?

It is for existing hearing aid wearers whose devices were bought elsewhere and who now want a different provider for ongoing support. That may be because the original clinic is too far away, no longer available or no longer meeting their needs in a way that feels helpful.

What does the one-off fee include?

The fee covers a review of your hearing and devices, consultations, unlimited programming adjustments and fine-tuning, follow-up appointments, performance monitoring and maintenance advice. We explain what your current hearing aids are doing well and where changes may improve comfort or clarity.

Do I need to buy new hearing aids to transfer?

No. The point of Transfer of Care is to restore continuity of professional support for the hearing aids you already own. If those devices can still serve you well with the right review and adjustment, we will say so. Replacement only becomes part of the discussion if it is genuinely needed.
